The 2019 Global Marketing Conference brought The Nature Conservancy’s marketing staff together for a week of learning and networking. With the conference’s theme of “Future Forward,” I developed a logo concept based on multiple parts coming together to form the whole. Not only does a bold F with an arrow allude to a ‘Future’ in forward motion, but the strategically placed arrow also frames a subtle second F to complete the Future Forward acronym.

Initial Logo Sketches
EvolutionCollaborating with the art director, we refined the logo mark to strengthen balance, further frame the second F, and bring more emphasis to the arrow.
ExpansionThe logo informed the conference’s overall visual identity, which was applied across various assets, including presentation slides, stage builds, pop-up banners and photo backdrops. (Pictured: Select assets in use at the event)
